The present investigation shows how Higher Education seeks to open paths along a path of adversities, for which the objective was focused on proposing a Holistic Approach by Competencies to improve Integral Training. The mixed approach methodology applied to a sample of 260 people between teachers and students of the Technical University of Babahoyo - UTB. The results obtained show that there are 76.92% of respondents who are not working pertinently on the subject of knowledge skills, likewise, 72.69% do not agree that they are working adequately with the holistic approach by competences, 46.92% % do not believe that adequate comprehensive training is being strengthened and 45.39% consider that interpersonal relationships should be improved in order to achieve quality comprehensive training.
