It is recognized that the recreational activities used in the teaching-learning process contribute to the motivation and desire to learn in children. The objective of the research is to develop a methodological strategy to promote interculturality with the use of recreational activities. A quantitative approach is presented, of the correlational, experimental and longitudinal type and is based on applying theoretical research methods in the search for regularities and good practices in Ecuadorian conditions and a diagnosis in which empirical methods are used. A methodological strategy based on gamification is proposed for the development of interculturality and its effectiveness is verified by applying the Net Promoters Index to the participating teachers and subsequently, a verification is proposed for the students that evaluates the results and allow for continuous improvement. The proposal guarantees the development of interculturality (Montubia Culture) based on the use of gamification and the achievement of significant learning by incorporating autonomous learning, the use of technologies, promoting teamwork and the development of field research, conceive evaluation as learning and the development of expository skills.
