Abstract

With this work an estimate of uncertainty is performed to determine whether the screening of new business opportunities in the Sugar Company Ignacio Agramonte, Camagüey, from the proposals of its business is feasible, forecasts and statistical analyzes were performed from employment package Statgraphics Centurion XVI, for this a forecasting model set is identified by historical data of the company, confidence intervals for the forecast are simulated, the uncertainty associated with the prediction is evaluated, as well as assumptions made by the company and impacts for possible restructuring and / or assimilation of a new production are identified by the software SuperPro Desing version 9, determining that the projections of the company are very close to the model set an optimistic scenario and accept new projects employers, including the investment of two plants for the production of D-xylose and Xylitol.
