Abstract

PEREZ GARRIDO, Neyda et al. EVALUATION OF THE RESIDUAL OF COPROPORFIRINAS III AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS (PART II). RTQ [online]. 2018, vol.38, n.3, pp. 486-494. ISSN 2224-6185.

Bioassays are excellent tools for the evaluation of environmental risks. The aim of this study was ecotoxicological tests are carried out with the objective of inferring the effect that Coproporphyrias III residues can have on the ecosystem from the effect it produces on a population of organisms that forms a fundamental part of the food chain. The clinical and toxicological tests in the Artemia sp experiment, it was observed that there is a directly proportional relationship between mortality and the concentration levels tested; evidencing the maximum effect from the concentration of 5% with 100% mortality. And for the bioassay of Acute Toxicity with lettuce seeds observed 0% of germination, therefore there was no growth. It is demonstrated that the residuals obtained in the technique of Cropporphyrias III have toxic effects for both aquatic and terrestrial environments.

Keywords : Coproporfirinas; ecotoxicologicaltests; Artemia; lethal concentration.
