One of the problems encountered is the difficulty of interpreting the diversity of existing metadata schemes (LOM, DublinCore, MODS, etc.) used in all kind of repositories. The objective of this paper is to present a Translator Cataloguing Standards library (LibTec) to promote the import and export of learning object in the repository RHODA. The theoretical concept of the library can be reuse in other systems, because of its generic character.
