Abstract

CORTES COSS, Dina Elizabeth; RODRIGUEZ ALFANO, Lidia  and  SANCHEZ GONZALEZ, Diego. The Urban Space Stigmatization, Originated from Power and Violence Practices against Women. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.1, pp. 124-141. ISSN 2308-0132.

The following article analyzes the linguistic indicators of urban stigmatization, conditioning the way of life of women who come from rural environments, victims of domestic and physical violence and currently residing in the metropolitan area of Nuevo León. This stigmatization, which has been derived from various aspects, has been the product of a transculturation of violent practices that in turn influence enunciation. To identify the above, the authors were based on the contributions of discourse analysis.

Keywords : discourse analysis; vulnerability; urban space stigmatization,; domestic violence.
