Abstract

The issue of the monetary and exchange duality established since 1993 is addressed. Initially, it was conceived as a transitory process, but it has been extended far beyond in time, which has generated economic, social and political difficulties. The current and complex scenario is addressed, through which the economy transits and offers suggestions and considerations in search of feasible solutions.
