The article that is presented makes a characterization of the innovation process in agricultural cooperatives. It focuses on non-state production organizations, specifically the Agricultural Production Cooperatives (CPAs) and Credit and Service Cooperatives (CCSs) in the province of Mayabeque. The systematization of the results is based on the study of 23 organizations. They are presented taking into account the phases of the innovation process proposed by the authors in previous studies. The variables and indicators used for the study are socialized through this article, as well as a set of conclusions that allow us to visualize what is the current state of the innovation process in cooperative organizations, which can serve as a starting point for another type of study.
