Abstract

MESA TEJEDA, Natacha Teresa  and  MENDEZ-ROMERO, Lic. Leyanis. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Alternative for their Legal Organization in Cuba. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2021, vol.9, n.2  Epub July 01, 2021. ISSN 2308-0132.

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are the fundamental link in the international economy. It is a subject whose analysis is carried out from different sciences. This paper reflects on the need for the legal regulation of MSMEs in Cuba to recognize single-partner companies, which is an attractive element for many of those who today, under the self-employment scheme, own de facto MSMEs. The regulation of single-member companies is a challenge for the Cuban legal system, since to date only multi-member companies can be incorporated.

Keywords : micro, medium and small business; self-employed; sole proprietorship; individual limited liability company.
