The distance education is one of the issues that is in the public and daily debate at a national and international level, while the irruption of technology in education becomes increasingly evident among its means of teaching, content and education. methodologies. At the same time, the interaction with these tools constitutes a necessity for the accompaniment of the teaching process, because it is the digital space par excellence where students spend most of their time. However, none of this can happen in an improvised way, skills are needed that allow both students and teachers to fully exploit the potential of technologies in order to guarantee academic success, as well as motivation towards learning each time. more superior and quality. Hence, the objective of this article is to propose a didactic model to contribute to teacher training in distance education of the subject Society and Educational Policy, of the Technical University of Manabí. The research methodology was based on the qualitative approach. A survey was applied to 4 professors of the institution and a group of experts that accompanied the development of the research considered the proposal as relevant and valid for the selected educational context.
