Well-being and family prosperity are constituted as perceptive constructs in families, these being the space par excellence for their access. The research aimed to reveal social perceptions of well-being and family prosperity in urban middle classes of different socio-structural groups, assuming a constructive-interpretive qualitative methodology. A qualitative questionnaire of open questions was used as a technique. The sample was made up of 31 subjects from different socio-structural groups; the interpretation of the results was done through content analysis through the ATLAS.ti 9 tool. The content of the perception pointed, at first, to the significance of well-being and family prosperity, the assessment of their conditions of access to both states and aspirations to live with well-being and prosperity, subsequently two comprehensive models of social perceptions of well-being and prosperity in middle urban layers were built as a fundamental result of the study.
