Covid-19 has changed our lives, it is the most evident conclusion of the last months of 2020. The world demands new forms of communication in human relationships, because life, even before the onset of the pandemic, no longer Works or generates confusion. Social distancing is imposed as a sure weapon against disease, but it causes fragmentation and physical isolation among people. At the same time, health leaders and authorities speak of a new normal, the essence of which is the learning of people t olive with the disease. But por this is necessary that the new scientific knowledge be put at the service of this coexistence. Fir this reason we propose to reflecto n the importance that communication acquieres in times of pandemic, the need for a flow of information on advances in the field of scientific research on the new coronavirus, as well as the negative impact that the disease has caused in the affective sphere of individuals, causing various emotional disorders, including stress, and the need to develop communication strategies that make the results of scientific research accesible to the population.
