Abstract

The present work aims to carry out a thematic analysis of the scientific production on Covid-19 in the areas of Health Sciences and Social Sciences in the journal Anales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba. For this, we worked with the universe made up of all the articles published in this journal and that corresponded to the year 2020. This study uses a quantitative descriptive methodology, as well as the classic documentary analysis and content analysis. Qualitative that allows to interpret the semantic content of the exposed concepts. The results obtained in the current study show that Covid-19 has been approached from various areas of knowledge, mainly from the Health Sciences and Social Sciences. This is demonstrated by the identified research fronts.
