BARRETO RAMIREZ, Emilio. National identity at the sketch of field of social communication in Cuba. ARCIC [online]. 2021, vol.10, n.27, pp. 154-170.  Epub Dec 01, 2021. ISSN 2411-9970.

At the end of Century sixteen they found the first period of the formation of the national Cuban identity. Then, they only talk about creole: a notion destined to recognize to the first people that was born in the Island, whom still was shown as a combination with common objectives, but without a habit and, above all, without a historical memory qualified to confer to that first Cuban the base of an appropriate Weltanschauung. As of the New World typical expressions, they happen the variations of nomination as result of the differences between the colonies of overseas and the political climate in Spain as well as between the social circumstances that buried deep the separation of the world of the time whose geopolitic breach was in part the Atlantic Ocean. That always reverberated negatively in the political center located in the capital of the Metropolis, who saw helpless of controlling which were happening in foundational struggle to sprout. At present essay it identifies and analizes the field of the social communication as environment of origin, trial and germ of the national Cuban identity and, at the same time, these pages show as the discourse of the national Cuban identity it is present in the first sketches of the field of the social communication in Cuba. For such pledge, this research has as a base the notion of field by Pierre Bourdieu, but interceded for the perspective assumed by the Cultural Latin American Paradigm.
