Abstract

MARTINEZ CAMILO, Valentin  and  TORRIENTES HERNANDEZ, Beatriz. Cervical neoplasia. Rev Cubana Obstet Ginecol [online]. 2006, vol.32, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3062.

This paper stated that uterine cervix neoplasia is one of the most frequent diseases in women and underlined the importance of an early accurate diagnosis to reduce the morbidity and mortality rates caused by this disease. The incidence in women at climacteric age due to the biological and immune changes that they experience, among other factors, was studied. Other associated factors were age, smoking, nutritional shortage, promiscuity, etc. Different applied therapies and some recommendations based on our experience were provided in this paper.
