Abstract

The anti-inflamatory activity of the fluid extract of the leaves of Siempreviva (Bryophyllum pinnatum) against the edema caused by carrageen in rats with an average weight of 200-250 g, was investigated. It was confirmed that the fluid extract with 4.5 % of total solids at doses of 100 mg/kg of weight has an anti-inflammatory effect.
