Abstract

DIAZ VALDES, Yanira Noalis et al. Pathomorphomertry study of coronary atherosclerosis and its consequent myocardial lesion in 150 necropsies. Rev Cubana Invest Bioméd [online]. 2009, vol.28, n.3, pp. 44-50. ISSN 1561-3011.

With the objective of studying relation between coronary atherosclerotic and heart, study 150 dead people aged 36 - 65 years, using the atherometric system (AS). The most important results were the following: the DA was the most affected for severe plaques. The mans since 36 to 45 years old have more lesions and more several than womans. The severity of atherosclerosis lesion and organ lesion increase with age in male and female. The atherometric system (AS), is the best methodology to study and characterize the atherosclerotic lesion.
