A descriptive research was made to evaluate the curriculum of the Health Management diploma project conducted to directors of the national health system. The design of this curriculum was evaluated starting from the correspondence among the different elements integrating it and the obtention of criteria related to its contributions and weaknesses in the preparation of the students and its application in practice. The criteria of congruence, continuity, integration, force and viability were used. The results showed the existance of a series of limitations that prevented the curriculum from giving an answer to the present needs of teaching as regards management.
