Abstract

PENALVER RODRIGUEZ, Verónica Milagros  and  PEREZ PENALVER, Odalys. The subject called Quality Assurance and its evaluation in a virtual environment. Educ Med Super [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.4, pp. 551-561. ISSN 0864-2141.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, the subject called Quality Assurance was given in the virtual learning environment, as part of the pharmaceutical service profile. The teaching setting was the computer labs and the intranet service of the "Salvador Allende" medical faculty in La Habana. The resources and activities that Moddle platform modules offer were used and evaluated; all the students were characterized and given a personalized attention, so the less skilled ones in the information and communication technology management received due support. There was positive interdependence between the members of the group and the development of relational competencies. A methodological guideline aimed at health technology professors will be further prepared to consolidate the teaching practice in this regard.

Keywords : virtual environment; pedagogic model; Moodle; virtual teaching and learning e-learning.
