The objective of the present work was to carry out a monitor the water quality for irrigation from groundwater supply sources located in the upper part of the birth of the Almendares-Vento basin. A network was established for the realization of monitor composed of 12 wells; two are located in the Central Area of the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Agrícolas (INCA), four in the INCA Agricultural Services Department, and six in farms of producers belonging to two CCS strengthening of San José de las Lajas city ANAP. To implement an appropriate sampling strategy, wells were classified according to their intensity of exploitation according to the area and crops under irrigation. It was proposed a methodology for water sampling for analysis. The values of the evaluated indicators compared with different classifications for the water quality for irrigation. As main results found that the waters quality of the studied wells, turned out good according to the classifications discussed. Therefore, they may be used without restriction for use in agricultural irrigation. He demonstrated according to the French degrees Hidrotimétricos waters of different wells in study were hard and very hard, important aspect to take into account for irrigation systems maintenance. The Confidence Interval analysis of indicators Electrical Conductivity (CE), Total Dissolved Salts (SDT), sodium absorption ratio (RAS), pH and calcium content in high exploitation wells, allow to considerably decreasing the frequency of sampling.
