The global health emergency has forced the public and private educational system to rely on Information and Communication Technologies. The objective of this research was to systematize the basic theoretical foundations to determine the importance of ICT in the teaching-learning processes of students in the classroom, as a response to knowing the pedagogical foundations in the development of teaching work by integrating ICT resources. The methodology used is a bibliographic review in a database search of indexed journals in which 12 documents were considered as unit of analysis in the modality of original articles as results of an investigation in 66.7% and review articles in a 33.33%. In the development of the work, it was possible to identify the factors that influence the use and benefits of ICT as a support tool in teaching.
