This paper proposes good practices to guide digital citizens to synthesize learning and be able to use it in collaborative environments. As a way to develop this area in the Faculty of Educational Technologies, a survey was conducted to first year students of Computer Science Engineering on the use of social networks indicating their online activity from different variables.
