Resumen

The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between virtual education and the academic performance of the students of a Lima university in times of pandemic, and from this the specific objectives were defined. From the methodological point of view, the study had a quantitative approach, also according to its type it was basic, according to its level it was descriptive correlational and its design was non-experimental. The population consisted of 3,134 undergraduate students from a Lima university, however, a non-probabilistic convenience sampling was carried out, in which 229 students from the industrial engineering career of a Lima university were selected. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, which was prepared with 26 questions related to the variables and dimensions, which had 5 alternative answers, through a Likert-type scale. The descriptive analysis was performed using absolute and relative frequencies. The inferential analysis included the analysis of the normality of the data with the application of the Kolmogórov-Smirnov test and the calculation of the correlation coefficients by means of the Spearman's Rho test.
