GONZALEZ-VAZQUEZ, Arianna y DE LA TORRE-GONZALEZ, Roberto. Celulosic materials in nanoparticles base for electromagnetic shielding. Rev Cub Quim [online]. 2019, vol.31, suppl.1, pp. 3-20. ISSN 2224-5421.
This paper dials about the development of cellulosic materials impregnated with magnetite nanoparticles and multi-walled carbon nanotubes, for use in electromagnetic shielding. The materials obtained are subjected to physical and mechanical test in terms of grammage, roughness, size, density and burst resistance, resulting that the inclusion of nanoparticles in paper formation, reinforcing these properties. The termogravimetric analysis is applied identifying that the loss of mass is less than 50 % in the temperature range tested (50-1000ºC). The homogeneity and roughness of the shaped materials is determined from Haralick´s textures, showing an adequate homogeneity and roughness. Electrical properties were evaluated, indicating a high conductivity of the cellulose/MWCNT samples with high impedance and near zero face. The Total Shielding Effectiveness was determinate using the insertion method, presenting a Set greater than 20 dB.
