QUIROZ BENITEZ, Lourdes Monserrate; ZAMBRANO ZAMBRANO, Dannyll Michellc y ZAMBRANO ACOSTA, Jimmy Manuel. Social Networks for the Development of Higher Order Skills Based on Bloom's Taxonomy for the Digital Age. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2023, vol.11, n.3 Epub 01-Dic-2023. ISSN 2308-0132.
In the present article, the incidence of using didactic strategies with social networks for the stimulation of higher order thinking skills was determined, according to Bloom's taxonomy for the digital age, applied in the teaching-learning of reading comprehension of students of the seventh grade of EGB of the Educational Center "Martha Bucarám de Roldós". A methodology based on the quantitative paradigm was used, with a type of documentary, descriptive, field, and quasi-experimental research. The analysis of the results was carried out through descriptive statistics. As a data collection instrument, a pre-test and post-test were used. The results show an increase in reading comprehension of 20% for the control group and 41% for the experimental group. This shows that the application of the intervention proposal using Bloom's taxonomy for the digital age, through the social network Facebook, had a positive impact on the increase in reading comprehension skills.
