MORALES MAURE, Luisa; GARCIA VAZQUEZ, Evelyn y DURAN GONZALEZ, Rosa. Formative intervention for the learning of Mathematics: An approach from a qualified course. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.69, pp. 7-18. Epub 02-Sep-2019. ISSN 1990-8644.
The article identifies the key mathematical knowledge and the teacher competency profile contained in Module 1 of the qualified course "Teaching Strategies for the Teaching of Mathematics". These competences must have the teachers to be able to perform the functions that correspond to them in primary school; with the purpose of: sustaining, designing and implementing a training proposal for the development and evaluation of said knowledge and of two key competences (mathematical competence and competence in analysis and didactic intervention), which is aligned with the public educational policies of Panama and the UNESCO guidelines. The research is primarily qualitative, since we are interested in describing and reflecting on the development of competences of primary school teachers.
