The scientific character of the curricula depends to a large extent, on the determination of the conditions and demands of the context in which they will be developed. Due to the lack of information on the socioeconomic situation of Lesotho, a diagnosis was made with the objective of identifying the general socioeconomic, education and health conditions of the country, which determine the contents of the Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Sport. Document review methods and questionnaires to specialists were applied. Based on the results obtained, the contents and activities of the courses in the program were selected. The study concluded that the determination of the contemplated variables facilitates the selection of the contents and activities of the courses, which contributes to quality training and the insertion of graduates in the labor market.
