Independent work of the students and their necessary professional training constitute very present topics in the university environment, but their interpretation, beyond the repetition of the necessity and concept reference, present inadequacies in their implementation as a fundamental form of the teaching-learning process. In this work there is a reflection on the practice of independent work that is summed up in the preprofesional activity developed in predegree training, but with an equal significance in post-degree whose poor implementation implies a didactic resource not always appropriate and effective
