The general objective was to identify the relationship between virtual tools and digital skills in students of a particular university in Lambayeque, while the specific objectives: identify the relationship between storage tools and digital skills; define the relationship between collaborative tools and digital skills; determine the relationship between communication tools and digital skills; analyze the existing relationship between the tools for the creation of content and virtual skills; Specify the relationship between assessment tools and digital skills. The study was basic type, quantitative approach, non-experimental design and correlational level. The population was 13,320 students from a private university in Lambayeque. An intentional non-probabilistic sampling was carried out, resulting in a sample of 135 students of the seventh cycle of industrial engineering at a private university in Lambayeque. The survey and questionnaire were used to collect information, with 25 questions about virtual tools and 30 related to digital skills, each with four response options, according to a Likert scale. The descriptive and inferential analysis was carried out, through the calculation of the level of perception and the correlation coefficients between the variables and dimensions, using the Pearson test.
