DAVILA MORAN, Roberto Carlos et al. Digital skills and teaching performance in professors of the Industrial engineering Career of a private University of Huancayo. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.88, pp. 34-43. Epub 30-Oct-2022. ISSN 1990-8644.
The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between digital skills and teaching performance in professors of the industrial engineering career at a private university in Huancayo, while the specific objectives were: to determine the relationship between information and information literacy and teaching performance; determine the relationship between communication and collaboration and teaching performance; determine the relationship between the creation of digital content and teaching performance; determine the relationship between information security and teaching performance; determine the relationship between problem solving and teaching performance. The approach was quantitative, with a non-experimental design, applied type and correlational level. The population was 215 professors from a private university in Huancayo, with intentional non-probabilistic sampling, resulting in a sample of 35 professors from the industrial engineering career. A questionnaire with 24 questions was used, with five response options according to a Likert-type scale. From the descriptive field, the absolute and relative frequencies were calculated to determine the level of perception. From the inferential field, the normality of the data was determined and subsequently the correlation coefficients were calculated with Spearman's Rho test.
