The objective of the study was to analyze the existing information regarding blockchain technology in education. It was developed with a bibliographic design, through a systematic review study. The technique used was documentary analysis, as an instrument the filing, the computer and its storage units were used. For the study, 10 scientific articles were selected from the Scopus database, with a publication date between 2021 and 2022, with Spanish and English as the priority language, duplicate articles and those that did not handle technology as a central theme were discarded. blockchain in education. To facilitate the location and management of references, the Zotero manager and the Google Scholar search engine were used. The results indicate that blockchain technology in the educational context is mainly used to issue and verify academic credentials, communicate the competences and learning achievements of students and evaluate their professional potential, information storage, avoid information plagiarism, among many other apps. Some of the studies found limitations of blockchain technology in the educational context.
