Currently the management process becomes an essential tool for the effective performance of the Industrial Engineer. Unquestionably, he is a professional who specializes in the constant search and interaction of strategies in communicative scenarios for the improvement of production processes and services in the environment of organizations. The purpose of the work is to expose the results achieved in a study concerning the development of metacommunicative management in the training process of the Industrial Engineer. The didactic premises are defined and contextualized from a system of didactic actions that allow undertaking the training and development of metacommunicative competences from the training process. The documentary analysis, the theoretical systematization for the construction of the conceptual foundations that are proposed, the modeling of methodological actions for the metacommunicative management in the training process of the industrial engineer were used as methods. Different activities were observed from the training process with the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the proposal where a bidirectional, democratic, participatory and dialogical communication was evidenced.
