Resumen

FERNANDEZ-LEDESMA, Rodolfo. Communicative Practices of University Extension in Professors of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana. A Theoretical-Methodological Proposal. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2022, vol.10, n.2  Epub 01-Ago-2022. ISSN 2308-0132.

In this article, a theoretical-methodological conception is elaborated and evaluated to guide the application of fluid and effective university extension communicative practices in professors of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana. A systematization of theoretical-conceptual and methodological references from different sciences and disciplines was carried out, with an interdisciplinary and holistic perspective. This allowed to base the theoretical relations between communication, education, university extension, social sciences and health. The results indicated the predominance of transmissive communicative processes and low levels of participation of teachers. In this qualitative research of a descriptive nature with a single inclusive case study, the Grounded Theory method and various techniques, mainly qualitative, were used, which supported the elaboration of the theoretical-methodological proposal and its evaluation, based on the considerations of an Expert Panel.
