Outsourcing is used as a strategy that performs multiple tasks that are not necessarily part of the company's core business. This article focused on studying its effect on the costs of an industrial paper company, due to the high costs incurred in the activities of unloading and feeding of raw material for the production of paper. Applied methods of non-experimental design, cross-sectional and descriptive in scope were used; while the data collection techniques included interviews and documentary analysis. It was obtained as a result that outsourcing has a positive effect on the costs of the paper industrial company reducing the costs for both activities. The outsourcing also provides advantages such as efficiency and less labor cost.
