Resumen

Wellness theme has been addressed in most of the research to disease prevention, adaptation processes, factors affecting about mental health and rarely have been associated with deeper levels that this reached in students especially in higher education before assuming satisfaction of reach of major life projects. Research conducted responds to needs for best performance in the context of the Student Residence, given the presence of some manifestations of the students she resides. Founded on this basis therefore seeks to identify the levels of psychological well-being among college students in the Student Residence at the University of Cienfuegos (UCF) main results manifestation of negative emotions such as fear, sadness, jealousy and some difficulties in the proper experience of psychological well-being , which can be considered as risk factors in the retention and academic performance of college students stands . Their results have contributed to outline new policies in the area, as well as personalized attention to students involved .
