FLORES MORENO, Raudel et al. Determination of physical-mechanical properties of the material of tractor tire. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2010, vol.19, n.3, pp. 57-61. ISSN 2071-0054.

The complexities associated to the exact calculation of the dynamic load coefficients and particularly those related to impact, are joint to other difficulties related to the over dimensioned of the parts, which produce and excess of weight and additional expense. In the case of agricultural machines is of great importance the study of the shock systems due to the fact that they are able to absorb the impact load decreasing in this way the affectations that produce on the structures. In this paper some properties of the constitutive material of a typical tire used in tracts and agricultural machines necessaries for using calculation methods by modeling were determined using tools of Assisted Design by Computer and analysis by finites elements for determining dynamic load coefficients. Applying electric extensometry techniques, the main elastic properties of the material are determined, obtaining medium values of the young module and of the Poisson coefficient of 203,5 MPa, and 0,47 respectively. The density of the material using the immersion methodwas also determined obtaining a medium value of 1 153,7 kg/m3.
