Introduction: The airway in pregnant patient is a problem faced by the current anesthesiologist. It is essential always to take into account that there are different methods for its prediction. Objectives: To update on the approach of airway in the pregnant woman and to identify its grade of difficulty in them. Development: Mother mortality by anesthetic cause is mainly due to problems in airway. Intubation conditions in pregnant women may be worse than in the normal one, since it increase the risk of a difficult airway. It is essential to have the knowledge and equipment necessary to advanced treatment of this organ, as well as to take into account the different tools and techniques to its approach and the elements necessary to prevent or to avoid the complications. Conclusions: Airway in pregnant woman is a challenge to anesthesiologist. It is important to make a prior assessment to predict how difficult could be and to take the necessary measures to its solution, as well as to specify exactly the options in these patients and to decide the exact moment of extubation.
