The 110 kV line Santa Clara - La Moza, which is located in the middle of the line of link between the hydroelectric Robustiano León (Hanabanilla) and the substation Santa Clara 110 kV, is of great importance considering that of the same one obtains the derivation where new type Gran Panel Substation 110/13,8 feeds. I thas a three-phase reclosing mechanism which does not perform his duties successfully, which brings affectations and difficulty the moment of restoring the system. In this work, the operating conditions of the region are discussed, as well as the problem of the automatics installed, and is proposing solutions in order to ensure effective operation before faults, without that the Hanabanilla hydroelectric loses the syncrhronism with the Electrical National System and supply the substation Gran Panel is not lost.
