DIAZ-MOLINA, María Isabel; RODRIGUEZ-NEGRIN, Zenaida; RODRIGUEZ-RICO, Iván L.  e  BRITO-MARTINEZ, Marlene. EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AND PROPOSAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL INDICATORS IN THE WORKSHOP OF OBTAINING 2- (2 NITROVINIL FURANO) FROM THE CHEMICAL BIOACTIVES CENTER. RTQ [online]. 2011, vol.31, n.2, pp. 145-154. ISSN 2224-6185.

This work is carried out in the workshop of production belonging to the Chemical Bioactive Center (CBQ). The G-0 or 2- (2 nitrovinyl furan) is well-known for its applications such as insecticide, antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal and also constitutes the main raw material for production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient 2-bromo-5-(2-bromo-2-nitrovinyl)-furan,(G-1). From an initial environmental review on the operations of this workshop, we identified the impacting actions and impacted environmental factors. The cause-effect relationship between impacting actions and impacted factors is represented on a qualitative identification matrix. We performed a qualitative evaluation using the Conesa’s importance matrix weighting it with the attributes proposed by this author to assess the importance of the impact. This analysis allows us to do the proposal of indicators for relevant environmental aspects.

Palavras-chave : environmental impact assessment; environmental indicators; environmental management.
