The study of models is strength in educational research due to the accelerated development and reach of science and technology, which promotes the use of pedagogical and technological mediations that generate new ways of teaching in teachers and learning in students. This article aims to assess the results obtained in the validation process of the professional improvement model in the appreciation of digital audiovisual media for university teachers. In order to solve the scientific problem that originated in a research carried out at the University of Artemisa "Julio Díaz González". For this purpose, various methods were used: theoretical, empirical, and statistical-mathematical, which allowed reaching the final results, through the practical application of the workshop system as a form of implementation, its widespread acceptance in the results of the satisfaction test, as well as the assessment by specialists, the "Target Shooting" technique and methodological triangulation. The practical application of the professional improvement model in the appreciation of digital audiovisual media for university teachers through the workshop system allowed corroborating the degree of widespread acceptance that teachers have about the proposal and the level of development achieved in MAVD appreciation skill. Specialists and methodological triangulation validate the feasibility and applicability of the model, so it is recommende.
