One of the great aspirations in Higher Education is the training of a professional who is a model in the use and care of their mother tongue, innovative, sensitive and creative, possessing sufficient dissemination of culture and an adequate communication process. Critical-literary training builds positive relationships that shape values, creativity and leadership, mastery of this provides accurate professional communication to the student of the Spanish-Literature career. Therefore, the present work aimed to design a didactic alternative for critical-literary training that contributes to the development of adequate professional communication in students of the Spanish-Literature degree. Theoretical methods were used: analysis-synthesis, historical-logical; Empirical: participant observation, documentary study, survey, interview, case study, specialist criteria and descriptive statistics, which constituted the expression of the actions to be developed for said elaboration. Among the most relevant results, the development of a high critical-literary training in the students was appreciated when communicating their criteria, opinions and points of view based on the literary works that constitute the object of study and their usefulness for their social performance, with the use of the metalanguage of this discipline.In general, it can be concluded that the critical-literary training based on the adequate professional communication of the student of this career constitutes a vital support in their integral preparation.Didactic communication aims to modify knowledge, know-how, being and being, that is, to modify their knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes.Hence, the professional communication of the student of the career is characterized by the ability to listen and express himself in that effort of a better communicative competence.
