Introduction:

the development of the systems of protection and care of human health increasingly demand quality assurance in the process of nursing professional development. In this sense, the improvement of human resources becomes a priority. However, it was found that there are deficiencies in the professional development process of medical office nurses on the treatment of bullying in adolescents.

Objective:

Methods:

the universe is 45 and 45 nurses are taken as a sample based on the established inclusion/exclusion criteria and the type of sampling. Research methods were used at the theoretical level: historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive; at the empirical level: analysis of documents and observation and statistical, expert consultation by means of the Delphy Method and the triangulation technique.

Results:

a strategy for overcoming bullying in adolescents is presented for nurses in medical offices with an interdisciplinary and intersectorial conception.

Conclusions:

bullying should be dealt with by nurses in medical offices who can cooperate in the planning and implementation of prevention programs, as well as working with the families of the victims and the community in general.
