This research was developed in the district of Monsefú - Peru, a city of natural and cultural wealth that needs to be promoted through attractive proposals to tourists, for this reason the objective was to design a thematic tourist circuit to promote local tourism.In this mixed research, the following tools were used: a questionnaire to survey 174 tourists who visited Monsefú with which their profile was determined, inventory of the tourist resources of the attractions of Monsefú included in the proposal and interviews with personalities of the tourism sector who they served as input for the design of the circuit.In the investigation it was identified that 83% of tourists who visit the Monsefú district are of regional origin, mostly from Chiclayo, Eten and Santa Rosa, 12% are of national origin and only 5% are from abroad, Thus, the proposal focused on the local tourist.It was concluded that, according to the results obtained, it is possible to create thematic tourist circuits that will help diversify the current offer and that will serve to reactivate tourism activity after the Covid 19 pandemic, thus generating greater economic income for the residents. dedicated to tourist activity.
