Ecuadorian universities are called to become virtual education spaces. In recent years, they have developed multiple actions to ensure infrastructure in the use of technology as a learning resource, and during the pandemic, the virtualization of processes was promoted with wide coverage. However, it is still necessary to consolidate the implementation of virtualization and improve the activities that are developed from the pedagogical and psychological point of view. In this effort it is necessary to carry out the analysis of the results and turn them into a reference for practice. The study presented tries to contribute to the analysis at the Technical University of Babahoyo. The objective was to characterize the educational virtualization process from the perception of teachers and students, documentary and content analysis of virtual tools. In this sense, a descriptive-evaluative methodology was used that does not intend to be evaluative, but to commit the authors to the stimulation of virtual education at the Technical University of Babahoyo.
