The conception of young people about television has changed in recent times. Now it's about making television and feeling part of that creation process; Hence, an audiovisual communicative product made by the university students themselves is an attraction and an even greater responsibility. University Television serves the university community by offering services to the different academic areas and supporting the dissemination of its activities. In this effort, the University of Havana created its own university channel four years ago under the name of Nexos. The Esquina Informative Magazine is included in its programming grid, a space that promotes the audiovisual journalistic production of students. It understands community television beyond the geographical space, but rather a community of interests, of its target audience. This article characterizes the work of Revista Esquina as a space for university and community television.
