The case of a 35-year-old patient that came to our institute after having been diagnosed right lung hemangioma and having  undergone a right inferior lobectomy in another hospital  6 years ago was presented.  In this opportunity, she was admitted again to study the reappearance of  a right parahiliar lung shadow. She presented massive hemoptisis, and an emergency right pneumonectomy was performed. The result of the biopsy confirmed a bronchial carcinoid tumor as a definitive diagnosis. The literatute that makes reference to the clinical, radiological and anatomopathological characteristics of this disease was reviewed.
