Due to the properties of the propolis tincture and taking into consideration the economic situation existing in our country, we used this substance to cure septic facial wounds in a group of ten patients aimed at proving its effectiveness. 90 % fo the patients had a total improvement during the first 7 days of treatment and only 1 patient needed 13 days for the complete cure of the wound, which demonstrates the effectiveness of this apicultural products as an alternative drug for this affection, and makes its use recommendable.
