The case of a 12 years-old boy affected by Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome whose relevant signal was macroglossia, pathological entity that may severely change the development of teeth and facial skeleton and cause obstructed respiratory tracts. He was treated with partial glossectomy with good results. The surgical technique used is detailed. No complication was reported. The patient is perfectly well at present.
