A genetical population aged 60-90 with diagnoses of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and frequent respiratory infections that receive attention at 2 family physcian's offices corresponding to "Nguyen Van Troi" Teaching Polyclinic was studied aimed at determining the efficiency of IGEGAM in relation to the described respiratory infections. The infections appeared in 60 % of the elderly. 75 % of them had an evident clinical improvement with the use of IGEGAM and from the humoral point of view the immunoglobulins (A, G y M) elevated their values significantly after 6 months of treatment.
