An anesthetic formulation for dental use made up of lidocaine 2% and epinephrine 1: 50 000 packed in cases. Two analytical techniques were developed and validated by high performance liquid chromatography to study the stability of formulation and to determine the expiry date. The microbiological quality of the preparation was confirmed, so a product that satisfactorily meets all the set specifications for sterile preparations was obtained. The technology could be easily put at scale, which gives the possibility of manufacturing dental cases with good results.
